Japan-region account required. PSN Japan codes can only be redeemed on a PlayStation account whose country/region is Japan.
- Content bought on a Japan PSN account cannot be transferred to another region's PSN account.
- PSN Japan codes cannot be used for CERO Z (18+) rated games.
- PlayStation wallets have a charge limit of 60,000 yen (per PlayStation Japan's official notice), so check your balance before redeeming a large code.
- If you see multiple errors when redeeming the code, please try again within 24 hours.

How to redeem
- Sign in to your Japan-region PlayStation account.
- Open the redeem screen. On PS5, go to PlayStation Store, press the triangle button and select "... (More)" > "Redeem Code". On PS4, scroll to the bottom of the PlayStation Store sidebar and select "Redeem Codes". In a web browser, open PlayStation Store, select your profile and choose "Redeem Code". In the PlayStation App, select the PlayStation Store icon, then the menu icon and "Redeem Code".
- Enter the 12-digit code from your email and confirm.
- The balance is added to your Japanese PlayStation Network wallet.

Your code is delivered by email as a digital code. Verified (returning) customers get instant email delivery. First-time customers go through a one-time account verification before the code is sent, which you can complete on our account verification page. You can pay with PayPal or credit card.
FAQ
Does a Japan PSN card work outside Japan?
Your code arrives by email wherever you are. What matters is the account: it must be redeemed on a PlayStation account whose country/region is Japan.
Can I add it to a US, UK or other non-Japan account?
No. PlayStation codes only work on accounts from the same region, and balances or content cannot be moved between accounts.
Does the code or the wallet balance expire?
PlayStation Japan's official prepaid payment notice lists PlayStation Store cards and wallet funds with no expiry date. We still suggest redeeming your code soon after it arrives.
What if my code does not work?
Check that you are signed in to a Japan-region account and that all 12 digits are entered correctly. Each code can only be used once. If you see multiple errors, please try again within 24 hours. If it still will not redeem, contact us with your order number.
Can I use it on my PS5 or PS4?
Yes. You can redeem it on PS5 or PS4, on PlayStation Store in a web browser, or in the PlayStation App. The funds go into your account wallet.
Can I buy CERO Z games with it?
No. PlayStation Japan does not allow age-restricted CERO Z (18+) content to be bought with prepaid cards, so these codes cannot be used for those games.
