A new Bemani collaboration event, "Otegaru!! Link Track" (おてがる!! LINK TRACK) has started recently on 25 March, and will last till 31 August. The event involves two games, Reflec Beat Volzza 2 and Beatmania IIDX Copula. This guide will take you through the event step by step.
For Reflec Beat Volzza 2 :
Playing Reflec Beat will unlock songs on IIDX. The first song “Journey” unlocks by default on the first play in the event period. For the next three songs, simply play the songs within the “LINK TRACK” folder. For the songs, any difficulty will do.
- Playing three songs unlocks “Super Duper Racers”.
- Playing 15 unlocks “SEITEN NO TERIYAKI”.
- Playing all 42 songs unlocks “CODE:1 [revision 1.0.1]”.
On standard mode with no extra stage, 42 songs will take 14 plays. On paseli mode with extra stage, 42 songs will take 11 plays.
For Beatmania IIDX Copula :
Play Step-up mode. Reaching specific stations will give you special “Tran medals” exclusive to this event.
The first song “Shoujo Alice to hakoniwa gensou concerto” unlocks by default on the first play in the event period.
- Reaching Mikan station unlocks “Meisai idol Aimu-chan”.
- Reaching Nama cream station unlocks “ra’am”.
- Reaching Ichigo station unlocks “Blue Spring Express”.
The number of plays are not definite unlike in Reflec Beat due to random factors. It will take at least 14 plays to reach Ichigo station.
Fastest Unlock Method :
For those who have fulfilled all conditions (cleared all songs in Link Track folder for Reflec Beat and reached Ichigo station or beyond in Beatmania IIDX) when the event started, it will only take three plays to unlock all eight songs in the event.
1) Play Reflec Beat first. “Shoujo Alice to hakoniwa gensou concerto” will be unlocked.
2) Play Beatmania IIDX next. All four event songs will be unlocked and all Tran medals will be obtained.
3) Play Reflec Beat last. The Tran medals obtained from the previous play will unlock the remaining three event songs.
