A Closer Look On The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia

Bandai Namco has announced their upcoming Playstation 4 game, The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia based on the popular anime and manga series by Nakaba Suzuki. Described as an “action-packed adventure game”, join Meliodas and the gang as you look for the rest of the Seven Deadly Sins throughout Britannia!

This  is the first video game console adaptation for the popular series. It follows the story of a group of legendary knights known as the Seven Deadly Sins who once served the Kingdom of Liones. They supposedly plotted to overthrow the kingdom, yet they disbanded after suffering defeat from the Holy Knights. Ten years later, the Holy Knights took over the kingdom by capturing the king. Hoping to reclaim their kingdom, the third princess, Elizabeth, sets out on a journey to find the Seven Deadly Sins and seek out their help on defeating the Holy Knights.

Just like the anime, the game was described to be action-oriented. The battles have a fast-paced action fighting style, and players can experience an adventurous and enticing storyline as they explore Britannia in search for the remaining Deadly Sins.

Each character appearing in the game will have their own skill set. You can level up by creating magical tools made from magical crystals and other materials which you can get as you explore new places.

Watch as the series comes alive in 3D thanks to Playstation 4’s stunning graphics!

In Story Mode, you can travel to various places by completing quests which you can achieve by manipulating the movements of Hawk’s mother. As you win battles, rumors will spread among the villagers and this “gossip” will unlock new places for you to explore.

At the end of every battle, the villagers will gossip about it which in turn unlocks new places in the game.

As your gossip level increases, new destinations and quests will appear!

The release date for The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia in Japan has yet to be announced. On the other hand, it was announced that the game will be released in North America and Europe on early 2018, complete with English, French, Italian, Spanish and German subtitles.

So what does this game have in store for fans of the series? The game will follow the events seen in the anime and manga, so there probably won’t be any new story content. Still, it’s now your chance to see your favorite scenes in the original story from another perspective! And since it is a game, you might even see the different sides to your favorite characters as they try to resolve the problems that come their way.
