Broadmedia Corp launched Koei Tecmo Mobiles’ popular history simulation cloud app game “Nobunaga’s Ambition Souzou with Power Up Kit” on Google Play and App Store on the 15th of November 2016.
Here is the official website of the app: http://gcluster.jp/app/nobunaga-souzou_WPK/
Nobunaga’s Ambition Souzou with Power Up Kit (to be referred to as WPK) is based on the 30th anniversary title “Nobunaga’s Ambition Souzou”, a game based on the turbulent sengoku period, features famous generals, and is the most well-known game that is based on Japanese history.
WPK adds plenty of new elements to the original game, as well as new strategies to be used, and allows players to experience large scale battles all over sengoku Japan.
In this game, a player takes on the role of a sengoku daimyo and seeks to unite the country. He does so not just by force, but also by employing other more peaceful and diplomatic methods. Castles can be strengthened in various ways, such as making them “strong against hard pushes”, “strong against surround tactics”, “hard to breach”, and other customization that allow players to make good use of terrain.
3D maps reflect troop positions and battle situations clearly, which lets players take full control of battles and strategize accordingly. In WPK, 500 new generals are added, making a total of 1800 playable generals, highest in the Nobunaga’s Ambition series. A new “Princess General Mode” allows you to choose famous princesses to use as commanders in battles. What’s more, there are four new scenarios added in WPK, “Birth of Nobunaga”, “Mino no Mamushi”, “Kyuushuu Campaign”, and “Battle of Sekigahara, making a total of 20 scenarios altogether.
Two things to take note when playing the game :
- There is a 15 minutes long trial-play period for this game. Please ensure you have a good internet connection of at least 3Mbps before running the game.
- If played for long hours, your mobile device may get very hot, which may cause a forced termination of the game. It is recommended that you take periodical breaks or a cooling fan of some sort.
