Idolm@ster Side M: LIVE ON ST@GE! Smartphone Game Announced

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that IDOLM@STER SideM: LIVE ON ST@GE will be the newest addition to the popular franchise, which was announced in the IDOLM@STER Side M 2nd Stage ~ ORIGIN event held on February 11. The game will be available to iOS and Android users. The PV of the game, as well as its official website, have also been launched on the same day.
Different From The Norm
IDOLM@STER: SideM is a game that revolves around collecting idol cards and training them to form strong idol units. It features the recruitment of soon-to-be idols at 315 Production and the idols within the unit Jupiter. The gameplay is the same as the previous IDOLM@STER games like Cinderella Girls and Million Live. However, unlike its predecessors which are about female idols, SideM features an all-male cast. Furthermore, the player becomes the female idols’ producer in the traditional IDOLM@STER games while in SideM, the player becomes a producer for the all-male cast. The main theme of the game is the job change. All of the idols have previous jobs but for some reason, they've decided to change careers and become an idol. It is now up to you, the player, to act as their producer and help them achieve their dreams. There are 46 voiced idols which are divided into 15 units.
One Million Downloads
IDOLM@STER SideM has initially started on June 5, 2014, and is being distributed in the App Store, Google Play, Mobage, and Chrome Apps.
In celebration of exceeding one million downloads, the game will be distributing the following gifts on February 18 (Saturday) until 11:59 PM:
- My Vital Jelly (Half) x2
- Memory Memo x 5
- Voice Memo x 1
Furthermore, it has also been announced that there will be a major renewal for IDOLM@STER SideMini. Details about the said renewal have not yet been disclosed.
