DMM Prepaid Point Card

A DMM point card code adds DMM points to your account on DMM.com, the Japanese site for games, videos, e-books and live streams. In Japan, DMM prepaid cards and point codes are sold at convenience stores; here you can buy DMM points online and get the code by email.

What you can use it for

  • Purchases in games on DMM GAMES, such as Kantai Collection
  • Game chips, which only some DMM download games use (17-digit prepaid card code only)
  • Videos, e-books and live streams on DMM.com

Before you buy

  • DMM.com account needed. Codes are charged to a DMM.com account. You may need to register as a member of DMM.com (free) and agree to the terms and conditions of the website and the card before using it.
  • Some services are Japan-only. DMM says some of its services cannot be used when you access them from outside Japan. Check that the game or service you want is available to you before you order.
  • Pick your code type. The 17-digit DMM prepaid point card code can be charged as DMM points or game chips. The 16-digit DMM point code adds DMM points.
  • Expiry dates. A DMM Japan prepaid card has an expiration date of one year from the date of purchase. After charging, DMM points expire after one year and game chips after six months.
  • Extra checks for some services. Depending on the game or service you want to use, you may need to provide a photo of a piece of mail or ID to confirm your purchase.
  • No refunds, returns or reissues. A DMM Japan prepaid card, and the DMM points and game chips charged by it, cannot be refunded, returned or reissued. See our refund policy.

FAQ

Does a DMM point card work outside Japan?

We email your code anywhere, but DMM says some of its services cannot be used when accessed from outside Japan. Check that the game or service you want works for you first.

Which account do I need?

A DMM.com account. DMM membership is free.

Does the code or my balance expire?

Yes. A prepaid card code expires one year from purchase. Once charged, DMM points expire after one year and game chips after six months. Point codes have their own validity period, so redeem soon after delivery.

What is the difference between the 16-digit and 17-digit codes?

The 17-digit prepaid card code can become DMM points or game chips. The 16-digit point code adds DMM points. Both are entered on DMM.com after you sign in.

What if my code does not work?

Check that you are on the right entry page, type the code in half-width characters without spaces, and double-check characters that are easy to mistype, such as 1 and 0. Still stuck? Contact us with your order number.
