Final Fantasy 14 Online Digital Codes (Japan)

FINAL FANTASY XIV Online is a subscription MMORPG. An FF14 Japan game time card adds 30 or 90 days of play to a Japanese account at the Standard subscription rate, so you can keep adventuring in Eorzea on PS5, PS4, Windows or Mac. Every code works only with a Japan Square Enix account. We also carry Square Enix Crysta for FINAL FANTASY XIV and XI.

What you can use it for

  • 30 or 90 days of game time on the Standard course, added in the Mog Station
  • Crysta for FFXIV: subscription fees on the PlayStation, Windows and Mac versions, Mog Station optional items, and the difference when you upgrade from the Entry to the Standard course
  • Crysta for FFXI: service, character and Mog Wardrobe fees

Before you buy

  • Japan-region account required. These codes are only valid with Japan Square Enix accounts. Please double-check your account region before purchasing.
  • You must own the game. A game time code only works if you have purchased FINAL FANTASY XIV and currently have an existing Japan-specific FFXIV account.
  • Not for the Entry course. Game time cards add time at the Standard subscription rate and cannot be used on the Entry course, so switch to Standard first.
  • Course limits. Standard allows up to eight characters per World and 40 in total. Entry allows one character per World and eight in total.
  • Supported versions. Game time cards are for the PS5, PS4, Windows and Mac versions.

How to redeem

Game time card

  1. Log in to the Mog Station with the Square Enix ID of your Japanese account.
  2. Select サービス契約手続き (service contract), then 利用期間の追加、支払い方法の変更 (add play time / change payment method).
  3. Choose ゲームカードによる利用期間追加 (add time with a game card), enter your code and follow the on-screen instructions.

Crysta

  1. Log in to the Square Enix Account management system.
  2. Open Crystaのチャージ (charge Crysta), enter the prepaid number from your email and follow the on-screen instructions.

Delivery

Codes are delivered by email. Verified (returning) customers get instant email delivery. First orders need a one-time account verification before the code is sent, which you can complete on our account verification page. You can pay with PayPal or credit card.

FAQ

Can I buy these codes from outside Japan?

Yes, you can order from anywhere because the code arrives by email. To redeem it you need a Japan Square Enix account; the codes are not valid on accounts from other regions.

Can I use a game time card on the Entry course or a free trial?

No. Change to the Standard course first, and make sure you have purchased FINAL FANTASY XIV.

Does it work on Steam, Xbox or Switch 2?

Game cards are for the PlayStation, Windows and Mac versions. The Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 versions cannot use them and take their own FFXIV coins instead, and Square Enix lists Steam Wallet as the payment method for the Steam version.

How long do the game time and Crysta last?

A game time card extends your subscription by 30 or 90 days when you register it. Charged Crysta can be used until the first March 31 after three years from the day you charge it.

What if my code does not work?
